I believe that my calling lands somewhere in the Criminal Justice program because it seems to relate to my personal qualities more than any other program of study. I think of myself as an observer because where ever I go I know what’s going on in my surroundings. Having a career in the criminal justice field requires being able to pay attention to detail and being ready for any situation. I’m also interested on the causes, definitions, and prevention of crime, as well as the legal process criminals goes through and how they might be rehabilitated.
By attending the police summer camp as a youth it has stayed with me all these years and seems to be the only link that directly connects my interest in the criminal justice field. Some activities that I enjoyed were introductions to forensic technology, martial arts, law, and team-building exercises. Speakers from the DEA, U.S. Marshals, and FBI spoke at the
