I think lois lowry wrote the book the giver and i'm going to write about that in a second first i'm going to tell you why I thought she did I thought shed did to be famous and to make herself rich that's way of and that's what i thought but then i noticed she did it because of a good cause The real reason she wrote the book is because of her dad he was super ill and he had memory loss so he forgot his own daughter's name and how she died and lois lowry had to tell him how she died which was super sad she made up the word realise to make it less sad for her to talk about when her dad died she was heartbroken and that made her want to write about the give she got the person the giver from her father and she thought about characters.
