Throughout the Great Gatsby the characters are described and investigated very deeply. The one character that sticks out the most is Gatsby which is a very interesting character. Gatsby is not the only striking dramatis personae for there are many others such as Nick the narrator, Jordan Baker, Daisy and Tom Buchanan. All these roles play a great part in the Great Gatsby. Gatsby is a very wealthy man who lives in the West Egg. Throughout the beginning and middle of the novel we are told all sorts of things about Gatsby, but what do we really know?
