College writing will be more rewarding as a learner mainly because there is more opportunity to learn. From personal experiences with writing, I do not learn well when my writing is structured. Writing for me is most productive, when the instructions are very limited, I can simply write and essay that suits me and will hopefully result in a good grade. College writing is also more rewarding than high school because there is more reason to learn. With writing being such a major part of the course, it becomes more essential to learn via writing because there aren't other participation grades to help fluff. Lastly, a teacher once told me that the best way to learn something is by teaching it. Writing, in my eyes, is teaching with the written word. I am not the best writer so I have always leaned on other forms of gaining points to do well in a class. Another aspect that appears to be challenging to me would be the lack of teacher recognition when I struggle. It is hard for me to pick up on my errors or my failure on my own so I like for other people to tell me what I'm doing wrong. This doesn't work for some people because they might be easily offended or wear their feeling on their shoulders. However, for me, it makes me a better scholar. I then take the critique and make it better on the second chance. In college however this second chance may never come, so I will have to proof read and edit the first time instead of using my rough draft as a
