Today I am here to nominate James Cameron for the Outstanding Life Achievement Award 2017.
James is the one of most innovative and famous Canadian filmmakers, producers and directors. He was born in 1954, in Ontario, Canada.
James was a science-fiction fan from childhood. However, his dream to be in movies was challenging. He was a truck driver before he got his first job as director in 1981. But he failed because he couldn’t produce that film and he got fired. James got his second job as a director, but then he got food poisoning and couldn’t continue and he got fired again.
During his illness, Cameron had a nightmare about a robot sent from the future to kill him, giving him the idea of the action film The Terminator.
