In the article "Where is Santuary?" By Dorothy Day, the authos writes about a speech that a women did defending the Jews and gives evidence and talks about recommendations. People woudnt believe the real situations where Jewish people were killed in those times. But what Jacques Maritian wrote on June 4th 1943, was the evidence that it was true. Thousands and Thousands of Jews were killed in different ways with a machine gun, burned, suffering of hunger, etc. In April 1943 the Bermuda Refugee Conference was held with recommentations that by June 1943 none of them were done. The recommendations were the following, number 1, the United Nations fouling the German Goverment and Governments of the states that controls Jews through neutral Governments
