The white garden snail had a medium size for both its shell and body. The shell was about 2.5 centimeters in length and 1.8 millimeters in width. The surface of the shell was not glossy, but it was marked with light brown spiral running from the tip of its apex to the outer lip of the shell; the mark repeated and covered the shell with a 0.2 centimeters space between each spirals showing its background color in ivory white. The shell was quite big compared to its body. The body was very soft and fragile. Its body had a light clear yellow and was about 5 centimeters long. The antennas were located on the very top of its head pointed horizontally in the air as its body was parallel to the ground. The size of its shell and body made this white garden snail such an adorable creature.

Firstly, it had rained the night before, so I was not surprised to find many snails was lying and crawling on grass next morning. Since snails were made of mainly water, they preferred living in damp environment so that they would not dry themselves to death. It appeared to be true that snails have a nocturnal habit in which they came out to eat or mate when night falls and hid themselves into shady pots or logs when day breaks. Lastly, snails had to quickly move from grass to the tree trunk because the sun had once again shined brilliantly on the ground. In the report, the white garden snail spent almost ¾ of the time within the 30 minutes interval to travel from grass to the tree trunk, and it only spent ¼ of the time to rest in order to prevent water loss. Each time it withdrew into the shell, it seemed to lie on the spot of wet soil since the soil had darker color compared to other places. I would consider these behaviors to be normal since snails like to live in humid and shady
