In both the play and the novel, Cyrano de Bergerac’s famous hat is a very crucial and symbolic item. The hat worn by Cyrano throughout the novel and movie represents his courage and bravery. Cyrano is a character that possesses a lot of fearlessness which is brought out in many different parts of the novel. The boutique ad clearly shows the well-known hat with the prominent white plume.
