On may tenth, 1996 5 of the climbers died and all Jon Krakauer wrote about was the sherpas. He blamed almost all of the sherpas on the mountain. Krakauer wrote about every death and when he wrote about the sherpas they responded back to him. Krakauer could have done multiple things but he got what he wanted and didn’t want to take fault for others actions so he randomly chose the sherpas to blame for the deaths of people on the mountain. Some sherpas died so he only had few to blame.
Lopsang Jangbu wasted time and energy from carrying Sandy Pittmans luggage all the way up the mountain. Krakauer wrote about how Lopsang had to carry up all of her stuff just to make her happy. Krakauer could’ve helped him carry a little bit up but he just watched him do it. Krakauer also blamed the sherpas because, when it was 2 o'clock he couldn’t get down because there was to many people coming up the mountain.
