In the preface of Who Owns History, written by Eric Foner, he clarifies that the idea of history is changing. We see history as is because our perspectives haven’t changed yet, history is just our interpretation. History has always been rewritten. “... I never was once taught by a woman, or a non white historian,” shows that our history is changing. I have more than two women teachers, there's even a women trying to become president. Having a female teacher, and maybe even a female president, it shows that after 70 years things change. I want to become a scientist, and seeing other women in my same profession. Eric shows us that history is ours, and not all at the same time.
