November 22, 1963, was a day that no one will ever forget. The unforgettable shot that resulted in the death of one of America’s most loved presidents. On the morning of Friday, November 22, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, also known as JFK, and his wife were riding downtown on an open top Lincoln.They were participating in a ten-mile parade in downtown Dallas, Texas. During their lovely parade ride through the Dealey Plaza at 12:30, three bullets were shot. One of the bullets hit the president in the head and another bullet hit him in the neck. The third bullet hit the governor in the chest. The president was rushed to the nearest hospital, The Parkland Memorial Hospital, but not very much could’ve been done for the president. John F. Oswald was a former US Marine and he lived in Belarusian until June 1962 when he and his wife moved to Dallas. When he assassinated Kennedy, he fled until he was questioned by police man J. D. Tippit, which Oswald also shot and was arrested.
