In recent discussion of professional athletes’ salaries, many are arguing that professional athletes are overpaid. On one hand, there are people who claim that athletes are special and really do deserve what they are paid. On the other hand, there are people who say that athletes are overpaid and they shouldn’t make more than people saving lives. My own view is that athletes are overpaid, however this isn’t always bad.
