This premise holds ground that it is not ethical for tobacco companies to sell a product that is known to be addictive and a danger to the health of its users. A survey done on thousands of internal documents of the tobacco industry released through whistleblowers and litigation reveal that there has been a systematic corporate deceit throughout the tobacco trade. The industry resents and continues to deny the preposterous effects of smoking such as lung cancer in the public glare.
