I use that feeling to motivate me to work harder,
I only allow myself one day to feel sorry for myself.
People who complain really get on my nerves.
When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself,
‘What are you gonna do about it?’
I use the negativity to fuel the transformation
Into a better me.
-Beyoncé-
Every time I see this quote it reminds me of a woman who set foot on this earth the day of September 4, 1981 with the name of Beyoncé Giselle Knowles in Houston TX. I hope her parents Tina and Matthew Knowles know how much of an influence their daughter is on not just me but the whole world. I like Beyoncé for many reasons and it’s not just because she’s an American recording artist or an actress but because of her Appearance, Musical Style, And Background. Beyoncé Taught me that letting those around me see my flaws and doubts doesn’t make me weak but instead it makes me human.
Although, I like her appearance because it’s like nobody else’s its unique in a way words cannot describe. I mean when you see her you’re thinking there’s no way the Beyoncé Knowles can be 32 that’s just how amazing she is. If you put her in a group with several other people she outshines them all. When you see her its extraordinary in a way even my words cannot even explain. She was named “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” by People and the “Hottest Female of All Time” by Complex in 2012. In January 2013, GQ placed her on its cover, featuring her atop its 100 sexiest artists list. Several wax figures of Beyoncé are found at Madame Tussauds wax museums in major cities around the world, including New York, Washington, D.C., Amsterdam, Bangkok, Hollywood and Sydney. She has this appearance that so many people around the world wants to be or just wants to look like her. Steve Maraboli said that “There is nothing more rare, Nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; Comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.” Beyoncé’s appearance/complexion is to just die for. Having a perfect, clear visual of this human being is just too perfect.
But, Beyoncé’s appearance isn’t the only reason that I like her it’s also because of her Musical Style. In Her Songs She Uses a little bit of everything from R&B to Hip Hop but her genre is mostly just R&B. Her Instruments are all vocal. When you hear her preform live on stage it’s just amazing. There’s one song I really like be her called “I Was Here” it says ‘I want to leave my footprints in the sands of time’ and it basically is all of our dreams. And that’s leaving our mark on the world and feeling like we want to know that our life meant something and that we did something for someone else and that we spread positivity, no matter how big or how small… we all have our purpose, and we all have our strengths to accomplish something that we felt like we couldn’t before and it feels so wonderful to do something for someone else. And I think for the United Nations to want to include the whole world was something important, and I feel that’s what she represents. Her early songs were personally driven and female empowerment themed compositions like “Independent Woman” and “Survivor”, But after the start of her relationship with
