What did Cleopatra come to power what did she do during her regin?

I chose this topic because I wanted to do research about how Cleopatra came to power and why she became so important? Cleopatra was an Egyptian woman who ruled Egypt, ruled as a co-regent. Cleopatra was born in 69 BC Alexandria Egypt ,the woman who took the throne and become a powerful ruler/ the queen of Egypt.
