Introduction In the book Why Girls Fight: Female Youth Violence in the Inner City, the author tries to present an extensively analyzed relationship that exists between different individuals and the collective people in the process of influencing the fights that exists amongst the teenage girls. The author greatly utilizes the ethnographic information that is usually collected in the concerned area while closely tracking the behaviors of a total of sixteen young girls for a period of two years. During this time, the author conducted several interviews in the girl’s schools as well as from their backgrounds. The data that was collected was made to learn more about the socio-cultural factors and the personal psychological influence that tend to affect the rate of violence experienced amongst the young girls. …show more content…
In the examination, the author tries to find out the key reasons why there street fights are common to young females in different places across the world. Ness basically looks at the important role that is played by the relationship that exists between the young ladies and their mothers that may lead to a rise in the rate of street violence evident in the streets. The insights that the author has offered to the readers give an opportunity for further research to be carried on by those who are interested with this topic. As such, this paper will look at some of the important elements that relate to female violence. In doing this, the paper will discuss how a woman’s private life contributes to the violent situations that they find themselves in and lastly an explanation of what I could do as a prosecutor to influence the desired outcome of a case concerning female
