Conclusion:
The hypothesis was: If one put a sugar cube in hot water, then it will dissolve faster because the molecules move faster in hot water. Proved by Table 1, the hypothesis was correct because the average rate for cold water was 0.044 g/s, medium temperature water was 0.056 g/s, and hot water was 0.338 g/s, which shows that the hot water rate was the fastest.
Error Analysis:
One problem that occurred was if the sugar cube was fully dissolved or not. Another error that arose was the exact time the sugar cube hit the water. Both of these problems had an affect on the time of it took to dissolve, which made the results slightly unreliable.
