In his article “Why Don’t We Complain?”, William F. Buckley, Jr. accurately tells his arguments about complaining. He discusses that Americans become to be more apathetic. It is about people that do not have a desire to complain something in a situation. People just accept the uncomfortable situation. No one wants to speak up his complaint to fix the uncomfortable situation. Therefore, He states his idea to push people to speak up and start complaining. Also, he shows that people start to leave the sense of helping each other. Especially, He states his arguments for Americans that rather manage themselves than interact with any other people.

Buckley, Jr. correctly says that Americans do not complain and need to start complaining. Buckley emphasizes that “No one addressed a word to him” (79). He proves that no one complains the uncomfortable temperature in the train. People need to start complaining. So, they can learn to speak up their arguments, make them feel more confident, and help the others to be better. Thus, Buckley correctly shows that people need to start complaining.
Although Buckley gives an accurate statement, he fails to prove his arguments. Buckley asserts that “I may be crazy, but I say there would have been lots more posters in a society where train temperatures in the dead of winter are not allowed to climb to 85 degrees without complaint” (81). From this statement, Buckley failed in showing a good attitude to solve the problem wisely. According to the Bible, people need to be calm (James 1:19). With calmness, people can solve the problem wisely. Therefore, Buckley fails to show how he solves a
