Another reason to loathe school. Lunch should have a time period for a student to eat and sit down and relax. But thirty minutes is not enough time to do all this, especially if you have B or C lunch. The thirty minutes of lunch start as soon as the first bell rings, but teachers let us go on the second call cutting down four minutes. Walking to the cafeteria is about another minute, and waiting in line is about a 8-15 minute wait, so that leaves one about ten minutes to eat and “relax,” but come on , ten miserable minutes to have our own time isn’t not acceptable. I could bring my own lunch to school but where am I going to heat my food up, or bring money to buy lunch, but the prices aren’t fair at the school store, one slice of pizza and drink is about four dollars; however who gets full with one slice? School lunch should be at least forty minutes long instead of …show more content…
A contribution towards my detest of school. There isn’t just enough time in a day for a student to all of his work, read, study, do their personal lives business, and get a restful eight hour sleep at night. Scientist and doctors say the average high schooler should get about 9 ¼ hours of sleep. Lets look onto my regular and see if I get the amount of hours of sleep I should be getting. I leave school typically around 3:50 pm and get home til 4 o'clock. What I have for homework will be APUSH notes that take about an hour, for AP Physics I usually get a worksheet that take about thirty minutes, plus read a section/chapter and watch videos, and take notes on both is about an one hour and fifteen - forty-five minutes. For AP English 3 is just reading a book for about an hour and research anything I quite don’t fully understand on todays lesson. In Pre-AP Algebra 2 it’s a section of notes from textbook, some vocabulary words, and problems in the section, so about a good hour and a half. So let's see, that’s about four and half hours of homework, not including three other classes, worksheets given out in each class, and studying. But wait, there’s more, I have to drive to Northern Lewisville for soccer practice at 7-9 pm, and there’s a lot of traffic on I-35 in the evening, so that regularly twenty minute drive just became a good thood thirty five to even fifty
