To begin, why do I desire to be an LSE Drum Major? I got interested when I watched our LSE Drum Majors of our 2015-2016 Marching Season. I saw that Anna was a sophomore and made Drum Major and thought to myself ‘what it was like to be a Drum Major?’ I’m interested in the original challenge it will provide me with. It would be interesting to the LSE Marching Band from a different perspective. It would be extraordinary to have a different experience. I’m aware that being Drum Major isn’t all fun and games and is a large amount of responsibility, all the same I feel like I can learn.
Why would I be a qualified candidate for LSE Drum Major? I’m highly responsible. I obtain excellent grades to stay on the Honor Roll, I’m in both cheer and band, and I would always be ready to go and on time for Marching Band. I’m willing to sacrifice anything for the marching band, even if something else conflicts with Marching Band, I will be there. I will be on time, ready to help, set up, whatever is needed to be done for the day. I stay focused as much as possible when working with the marching band, I stay on track and I do my best to improve along the way.
