I personally do not believe google is making us stupid therefore i disagree with Nicholas Carr and agree with peter norvig. If you want to know my reasons keep reading. Why I disagree with Nicholas Carr, well i disagree with Nicholas Carr because even when you are searching something on the internet or google you need to be smart enough to know what you're doing. For example today google helps many people find out what's happening all over the world as well as helping communicate with family members that are far away. Another example is when you're doing homework math or something for your boss or teacher if you don't have a book around there is always google. And sometimes there is problems you can't figure out not even with books or going to a library. Now what if some places don't have libraries obviously they will have to use google. This reveals that what my details show you is that sometimes the internet or google is your only answer. Like Peter says on the article suppose you have a job no books have information on you will obviously need to use the internet. And when a teacher or your boss want you to write up an essay or anything you will want it pretty much neat for that you need the internet/google for that too. The internet not only helps with homework and essays and math etc.. it also has information about years ago something books have but some are in museums or to fragile to touch.
