Hamlet immediately turned bright red filled with revenge as he heard the pale ghost who was once his father, the ghost mutter the words I was murdered by your uncle. Hamlet stood there trying to process the awful information. In the book Hamlet by William Shakespeare, Hamlet is the main character who is the son of King Hamlet and Queen Gertrude. Hamlet’s depressed because he just found by his father’s ghost that his uncle Claudius committed murder. Hamlet was unfortunately driven by his depression to motivate him to gather his revenge.

Hamlet felt backstabbed because his own uncle was going to send him off to be killed. Hamlet instantly felt like this was wrong because of the disgraceful act that Claudius has made. Therefore Hamlet wants to return revenge.
As a result, this all lead up to Hamlet’s bad behaviors and insanity.

Hamlet feels alone because no one took his side when he needed someone to. After Claudius and Gertrude announced their marriage Hamlet whispered to himself, “My heart must break in silence, since I can’t mention my feelings aloud.” (Shakespeare 29). Hamlet felt as he had no one to lean on. He could not talk to his mother about his feelings, he could not trust her. She did not even stop and try to understand what Hamlet was going through. She quickly jumped to conclusions about how insane Hamlet has become. Ophelia stops talking to Hamlet and that made him more depressed. Ophelia promised her father this, “I did what you told me to do and sent back his letters and wouldn't let him visit me.” (Shakespeare 85). As a result, Hamlet needed the love and support from his mother. Another reason why Hamlet was depressed was because he lost too many people all at once. What are you going to do for her…?” (Shakespeare 297) Hamlet suffered a great loss by the way his father died. He was already trying to deal with the intense pain. He thought about suicide numerous of times to cope with his pain. When Hamlet found out about Ophelia's death he knew it was to late to find his way back to her. He yelled at Laertes because he was hurt tremendously from the news about his father. He wanted to take it out on someone. Laertes did not deserve to have been treated like that. Hamlet lost his mom because of Claudius. He did not even try to stop Queen Gertrude from drinking the poison. He watched her tumble as she was unable to move, she died instantly. King Claudius heard Gertrude scream “No, no, the drink, the drink! Oh Hamlet the drink, the drink! I've been poisoned” (Shakespeare 329). Hamlet felt so overwhelmed of the fact his mother passed away right in front of him. He knew what he then had to. Hamlet grabbed the cup of poison and forcefully shoved it down Claudius throat. Suddenly after claudius died, Hamlet shortly died after he had been stabbed by Laertes. As a result, Hamlet got his revenge on Claudius, during the event everyone but Hamlet’s best friend
