Huck Finn is meant to be read by adults not children. The word nigger shouldn’t offended anyone because it is a way of lifestyle back in Twain’s time. In Twain’s time it was okay to say that word and not wince every time it’s said. To illustrate “ Jim is a gentle and loyal person he is not vengeful he does not hate , he cannot cheat or trick another.” Jim plays an important role in Shaping Jim.
