RBG: An Influential Leader for Gender Equality One of the most influential women in the United States was Ruth Bader Ginsberg, often known as RBG. Ruth was only the second woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court, but made the most out of her important position. RBG is a knowledgeable and brilliant woman. She was a daughter, sister, mother, and wife. RBG went through many struggles in her life, throughout her career as a lawyer, and as a Supreme Court justice. As a result of RBG's active role in the United States justice system, the stigma towards women has been reduced, and women's rights have been earned for millions of Americans.
