Have you ever thought what it would be like if we had shorter school days?If school days were shorter than kids could have more time for sports after school and other activities.it would also let kids spend more time with their family and friends and bring them closer.Another reason is that kids can do their homework better without rushing and worrying about what time they finish.There are multiple reasons for school days being shorter.
A shorter school day will improve kids outside activities and give them extra time for outside sports.If kids have more time outside or in sports they will come home tired and it will prevent from getting into trouble.It will also cut down obesity,⅓ of children are getting the right amount of playtime or time in sports.If you cut down school hours that number would increase significantly.

Most people disagree and think school days should not be shorter because kids won't learn as much.But that is not true we can learn the same if we cut down the classes we don't need for example art,woodshop,and stem.It can also save the school a lot of money because it will cut down the electricity ,heating system,air conditioning,and the utilities.
