According to Richard A. Friedman in the op-ed article, “Why Teeangers Act Crazy,” the best way to treat teens with anxiety disorders is to give them a combination of antidepressants and therapy. In the article, he states ”Young people are generally risk takers who are more prone to exposure to trauma as a direct result of their behavior.” This can lead to death. He also states, ”A recent study of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders found that only 55 to 60 percent of subjects responded to their cognitive behavior therapy or an antidepressant alone, but 81 percents responded to a combination of these treatments.’’ He supports this claim by giving examples of people with anxiety disorders and how they were treated. In conclusion,
