Why the United State should recycle? Recycling is the process in which waste materials are converted into reusable materials to prevent too much waste. Studies shows that in many years to come lands are going to fill up because not everyone is recycling. If recycling is not put into consideration, there will be not space for waste. According to The Montgomery College library titled “The effect recycling versus Trashing on consumption” by Monic Sun and Remi Trudel, “statistic show that from 1960 to 2012, the amount of waste generated in the united states increased from 2.68 to 4.38 pounds per person daily, an increase of more that 60%. They are both Assistant Professors at Questrom School of Business, Boston University. This article proposes a model in which recycling could reduce wasting resources. Recycling used materials reduces the use of virgin materials as well as the unwanted “emission and contamination” (Sun, Trudel). Recycling is good for society because the more people recycle, the better we are at reducing the waste thrown in the landfills and effectively reducing pollution. “recycling is only good if it does not lead consumers to use significantly more resources and therefore, it is important to understand the psychology behind how disposal behaviour may affect consumption” (Sun,Trudel). Those martials thrown in the landfills are not always trash about 50% of those waste are recyclable. For example, some bus stop does not have a waste bin or even if they do its only one. People either mix trash with recyclable materials in one bin or either throw it on the side walk. So, it would be important if the government and manufacturing companies provide recycling bin and trash bins by the bus stop in other to prevent the waste being thrown around. "The EPA statistics show that from 1960 to 2012, the amount of waste generated in the United States increased from 2.68 to 4.38 pounds per person per day, an increase of more than 60%". If recycling in not put into consideration, there would be a higher chance of global warming because manufacturing companies would cut down trees to produce new products which will eventually lead to deforestation. According to an article titled “Is recycling awful” by Alder
