When is the only time you are safe from teachers, homework, and projects? Lunch. As the only time you get to commune with your fellow students, it makes up a vital portion of the day. Lunch is important for many reasons. But why is it so important? Why do we have lunch? How come it’s my favorite part of the day? These are all very good questions. This essay is all about the importance of lunch and why we have it today. The first reason that lunch is important is the reason it was created. Hunger is a tragedy that strikes us all as humans, and we all have to deal with it every so often. It can be very distracting, and at times get in the way of whatever we are trying to do. I think I would find myself thinking more about food than my work. Without lunch I would be very distracted all day long. Which is why we have lunch. It can be difficult for kids who like to talk to be silent for an entire day. Lunch gives these kids a time to talk to their friends, and maybe make new friends. There are many things to discuss, from important things like due dates, to the absurd things like people falling asleep in class. In conclusion, I think lunch is the best part of the day because of numerous reasons. One is that it helps you get through the day. Our generation is so involved with social media that we are not mentally with the person in front of us, we are distracted with technology. The need to answer the text or tweet sent to your phone immediately has increased…

Why talk about religion? Religion is important and plays a major role in everyone’s life and is sometimes the basis of an individual’s moral values. My last job put me under the influence of an older Jewish gentleman and we became fast friends. We would often take lunch together and I would usually question, out of pure curiosity, some of his mannerisms that I found interesting. Through him I was introduced to what are known…

Business Conference I thought it would be cool and a good way to network. However when I heard that we required to go and it would be over 7 hours long I wasn’t nearly as interested. When I heard that we would be writing a four page paper about the event I was even less excited than I already was. Furthermore I thought it would be very difficult for me to write a four page paper about this event because I have a hard time staying focused for a long time if something doesn’t capture my interest. However…
