“Life gets hectic, so Whynot Coffee”. Whynot Coffee is New York City's favorite place for coffee. We are a small coffee house located in New York City that offers coffee, tea, baked goods, and light fare. Our business is a place for people to relax and indulge in what we have to offer. Our brand is focused on supplying our customers with the best coffee, drinks, and food in an incredibly relaxing environment. We are excited to be coming out with our own Whynot Coffee mugs and tumblers very soon. In addition to this we are also thrilled to begin selling freshly pressed juices for our health conscious customers in the next few months. Our founders are Sara Smith and Joe Willams. This ensures that our customers will really enjoy the products they buy, whether it be coffee, tea, a pastry, or the many other products we offer. We also have friendly employees and a unique environment, these help to make our customers feel welcome and comfortable. Our business is also eco friendly, has low prices, and free wifi. Being eco friendly helps us to attract customers who share those same values, also it helps keep our costs down because we use washable plates, mugs, bowls, etc. and do not need to keep buying paper products. Our low prices helps attract customers from all incomes and our free wifi not only attracts customers, but gives them an overall better experience at Whynot Coffee. Some of our weaknesses include their being many other coffee places around us and franchise coffee places. Places like Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are known by everyone and have large advertisements, in addition there are countless places to buy coffee in New York City. Two other weaknesses Whynot Coffee has are that we are just starting out and that we have affordable prices. Because we are a fairly new business we are still working on getting the word about us out and because our prices are low we do not make a very large profit on each item we sell. Some opportunities for us are social media and the New York Coffee Festival. Both of these things can help get people to know about us and gain popularity. Another opportunity is people are now more health conscious than ever, we can begin to serve things catering to that to help with sales and gain a new type of clientele. One of our threats is if rent prices get too high. Prices for real estate in the city are already very high and if our rent is raised we may not be able to afford to pay it. More threats are big coffee places and other local coffee shops. If they advertise better than us, offer better products, or cheaper prices our clients
