The Statute is located near Plymouth Rock, the statute is itself is surrounded by tree and in the background of the statue, you see Plymouth Bay. William Bradford is a historical figure in the Plymouth area. He and his wife Dorothy were the original Pilgrims to cross over from England on the MayFlower. William became the leader of Plymouth Colony after the death of the original leader John Carver, who died during the first winter. William was the Governor of Plymouth colony for over 30 years.
