William Byrd
William Byrd is a Renaissance composer. He was one of seven children, he also had seven children. He was born between 1539-1540, because he was born in the Renaissance it was hard for them to take records. He was referred to as "The Father of Music." William Byrd had powerful friends. Some of them are Queen Elizabeth I, Sir Christopher Hatton and Lord Hunsdon. In 1568 he married someone named Julianna. He was raised and was a Catholic. He was later pressed with the charges of resistance to the new reformed faith. William Byrd died on July 4, 1623. He had many famous compositions. Most them liturgies, madrigals and dance music.
