Finally with the addition of Charismatic and Transformational Leadership adding to the literature that states that leadership is an innate quality, it is clear to see that a charismatic leader is more effective because the followers will tend to echo what the leader is doing and positively reflect the good lessons from the leader. This type of leadership is still effective in modern times because people look upon a good leader for guidance where there is none. An example of a charismatic leader is William Clinton because of his ability to “transform groups of workers into highly effective teams” (Riggio, 2009, p.361).
