The Seven Year War had started which led to William having a huge chance to become a major. He helped his friend General Wolfe take over Quebec which was a success. William was later promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and stayed at Quebec to defend and protect Quebec from any Patriots. After he returned to England, he was told to go to a regiment in Ireland. Many years later Howe was promoted to a major general and was asked to train the soldiers. However the American Revolution and started which led to William's big success fall. Howe didn't like the Intolerable Acts so he went against them and failed to do so. After William had won the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston, the Americans didn't want to be apart of the Parliament anymore. William had went to battle with the Americans with other generals and wasn't doing so good. At first he had the same wins as losses but eventually he started losing a lot more wars against his enemies. He also couldn’t capture George Washington which made the king and others lose faith in
