If you’ve ever read The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, you know that William Kamkwamba is a very interesting and unique character. He dedicates his life to changing the world. When he fails, he tries again. He doesn’t let others tease him when he makes a mistake. He stays strong through hardships. All of these qualities come together to create an altruistic, resilient, benevolent person. To be altruistic is to be thoughtful of others, and not just yourself, which to be honest is something William was great at. He thought about other people, and he respected them.
