I am at Midtown Comics in the second floor where they hold all of their back issues. While I’m checking out the action figures I see out of the corner of my eye a girl holding a comic book with a figure that most resembles Little Nemo from Little Nemo in Slumberland one of Winsor Mccay’s most notable works in his career. He textured his editorial cartoons with a style of drawing used to shade in 2D drawings called copious fine hatching, and use color as a central element in Little Nemo.” Sarah looking at through more of the book says “Wow I have no clue what any of those words mean but It sounds like he was very ahead of his time if he pioneered so many of these techniques today.” She looks around at the stand on the wall with the tons and tons of recently released comic books. “So many of these comic book artists and writers were probably in a way maybe not directly but someway inspired by Winsor McCay, wow what a legend.”
