I have always loved all things creative (art, fashion, music, and entertainment related). As a kid I would draw out fashion sketches because I was sure that I was going to become a fashion designer when I grew up. Flash forward to more recent years, when I was in the 11th grade I told myself that I’m going to get myself an internship in the fashion industry. Summer of 2011 came and I got myself a fashion internship. Marsha, who was my intern boss was in the midst in looking for interns for her up and coming local TV show about fashion, art, and music entertainment events that’s happening in the DMV. I covered events such as The Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball, St. Jude Gourmet Gala, Carine's Bridal Atelier Fashion Show, Food Network Top Chief Cook-Off, Rihanna Diamond’s Tour featuring A$AP Rocky and many more. But what made the experience working for her blog even more fulfilling, was when I covered the St. Jude Gourmet Gala I got to meet up and chat with the CEO St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Mr.Shadyac, and I also got to chat with Roland S. Martin the anchor on CNN news as well as the food writer for DC on Heels Richard Berry. All three of these men told me wow you’re the youngest person here covering this event. I
