In “The Witch of Blackbird Pond” this is what happens to Hannah, an old widow who lives by herself, receiving care from her only two friends, Nat and his future wife Kit. Hannah should not have been commended by the Connecticut colony because she was to old to injure or harm anyone, she showed unconditional love to others, and she was given an unfair mob trial.
