Women are essential to our society, for they help our community grow. They have been underestimated during Shakespearean times, but are now equal with men. Women couldn’t do many things that men could do. For example, men could have a business, however women couldn’t. Since then they have worked very hard to change the fact that they weren’t as strong as men, and they have. Female’s rights have exceedingly grown from being the inferior gender in Shakespeare’s time to being equivalent to men now.
Women’s life during the time of Shakespeare was difficult because they were considered the inferior gender. They weren’t allowed to have a business, write literature, or act in plays. The men played the roles of women instead of letting the women act
