Anthony used repetitive words make her point very clear and passionate. Anthony calls out and asks,”Are women persons?”Since women don’t have the right to vote and basically any rights at all, she is wondering if women are even considered people.“The only question left to be settled now is: Are women persons?” It helped the central idea by saying that women need the right to vote.”It was we, the people; not we, the white male citizens.” The author alluded to the constitution by saying we the the citizens not we the white male citizens. “And I hardly believe any of our opponents will have the hardihood to say they are not” That helps her claim by making it sound like it’s not all about just the women. I can fairly state that Susan B. Anthony convinced the government a lot with this speech. She really made her point clear with evidence and she makes sense and gives a lot of
