The Revolutionary war ended up being a seven year battle. Throughout the Revolutionary war women, African Americans, and Europeans each played important roles in the American Revolution.
To start off women in played an important in the revolution while the men were at war. While men went to fight women took jobs like shipbuilding, blacksmiths, carpentry, or weavers.
