It was during the 20th century that the women suffrage movement truly kicked into high gear, and it would be under Communist rule in areas like eastern europe and asia that the movement would gain its bigger strides forward as women gained power in political parties, right and access to positions like doctorates and voiced their opinion in social matters as the need to access to food to feed their families on a consistent basis,all of this on disagree never seen before.

By 1959 the percentage of female professors had risen around 3 percent meanwhile associate professors rose from 14% to 17%.(Doc 4)Yet this wouldn't be by far the first example of female in position of powers as this can be traced back to the Bolshevik party where women stood as high ranking officers. A great Example of such is Mariia Fedorovna, a Soviet Bolshevik party official who in 1930 was fighting for women's right to not having to wear the veil in Uzbekistan as this clearly was a inequality between the sexes.(Doc 2) The sphere of influence of woman would continue to grow and become stronger, women would become an outspoken force among the community. A direct example of such new personal freedoms granted to women can be found in propaganda posters from the Chinese Cultural Revolution, where it was advertised for woman to “Late Marriage, Plan for Birth,Work Hard for New Age’’(Doc 5) in other words women were given the freedom to take control for their personal lives instead of being relegated to the patriarchy that had ruled women lives for thousands of years. Which historically was the norm, in all religions, cultures and political views before the early 20th century women stood as secondary to men, even as new found ideas and ideals shocked and shook the world women continue to be relegated as secondaries, from the birth of democracy in ancient Greece, where men were the only ones to participate in decision making and politics to the Renaissance where the greatest artist of the time where all male, and women were onces again relegated to be a merely subjugated to men, in this case just as inspiration for their art.
