Before the World War I, women had nearly no rights as men thought they were far superior than them. As the war broke out, some women were more appreciated than before World War I because of their hard work contributed in the war. Even Though women filled in the positions of men in the factories and such when they went overseas to participate in the war, women had given up their positions when men returned from the war. But, attitudes towards women changed dramatically as women were treated equally as men because of their contributions.
