Writing in Blood Authors always have a purpose for writing a book whether it is a meaningful or a meaningless purpose. They may just write for joy, but, sometimes, they right because it is the only way to get the demons out. More often than not, authors write books for themselves. They write indending to use their words as weapons. They write in blood because of past events. They write for a purpose, whether that purpose is meaningless or not. It often times does have a meaning, a meaning deeper than the reader could ever imagine, something only the author would understand. Night, a horrifying first hand account story about the Holocaust, by Elie Wiesel is a story most definitely written in blood. Wiesel survived debatably one the, if not the most, horrific event in history. This event was the Holocaust. Weisel, a Jewish kid living an average life, was taken to Ghetto, a fenced off place in Poland, and all around Europe, to easily confine the Jews, and later brought to Auschwitz, a Nazi Death camp where he was bound to die. After living through these gruesome times, Weisel decided to write a story about his experiences during this time of his life.…show more content… It is impossible to live life having endured things such as Wiesel did and not tell people about it. There is no better way to get a story like this one out there, than by publishing a book. Especially, when the book becomes a number one best selling book. You can not physically endure such things and keep it to yourself without going crazy. He used his words in Night as a weapon against the Nazi’s, although the party was disbanded and killed off for the most part. He is letting people know, first hand, of the horrific events that took place during the Holocaust. People can use his words to fight off existing forces working against
