During the course of my internship in Trust Group Inc., I gained a lot of experience in the field of sales and marketing. In Trust Group Inc., we worked directly with one of the largest telecommunication client and that is Spectrum. We worked as professional sales representatives by selling and promoting their services in Walmart to obtain new customers. Since this was my first internship/job, I had no experience in sales and I was worried that I might fail. However, my corporate trainer and co-workers helped me and trained by teaching me ways to improve in the areas I struggled. I knew that I had to get off my comfort zone and start learning. Therefore, on the first day of work, I learned the basics by going out to the field with my leader and I just observed the way she was pitching the customers. Furthermore, the good thing is that everyone meets up in the office at 10 A.M. before we are assigned to set out to the stores. In the office, we go over some sales theories, product knowledge and do some role plays with a partner before setting out to the field. This is where I got to learn most of the stuff in order to be good sales representative. In the first two weeks, I struggled in producing any sales but as I learned all the theories and mastered the pitch, I started to improve. I also mastered in overcoming objections if the customer had any. In my third week, I had the mentality that each day I set out to the field, I will close at least one
