Xin-Hua is the greatest character in William Bell’s Forbidden City because she is a caring, brave, moreover a selfless person. She is a Chinese university student that lives with her grandma, Nai-nai. She has thick hair that is parted in the center of her head and is braided. She has elastic bands that holds her braids. When Alex is first introduced to Xin-Hua, she spoke English with a bit of grammar mistakes here and there with a thick Chinese accent. Xin-Hua rescued Alex when he was shot in the leg by a soldier and took him to her home.
