The Yamessee Tribe where a multi-ethnic tribe, meaning a handful of different tribes in one. During the summer months, they lived near the beaches in Savannah and Florida. During the colder months, they moved inland in their villages, I guess you can say that Native Americans were the first to have vacation homes. Their homes were round and covered with palmetto fronds and other types of leaves. The Yamessee Tribe were great fishermen they mainly ate clams, oysters, and they also hunted animals. To catch what they ate on land they used spears and bow and arrows stalking their prey like a lion waiting for the right time to attack. The Yamessee caught oysters and clams by feeling with their bare feet and hands diving into the salt water blindly
