The Yellowstone Park fire was a tragedy for many animal habitats, and wildlife. Habitats were burned down, which led to many animals and newborns dying. The Yellowstone fire started with a thunderstorm. The cause was a lightning strike. Two main effects of the fire were that the bison and deer population went down 10 - 12 percent.
