Coaching can help improve our existing skills. Learning from a coach helps us challenge ourselves and develop new skills. We must be willing to ask for help to learn from a coach. Positive personal change is possible with practice and feedback from a coach. Both authors are correct in their assessments that it is possible to change and improve our skills if we willing to asking for help. After years of practicing medicine, one would think that a surgeon’s skill and technique is perfected, but this is not always the case.
