In the book, You May ask Yourself, Conley (2015) explain that sociology imagination allows us to “see the veneer of social life for what it is, and to step outside the “trap” of rapid historical change in order to comprehend what is occurring in our world and the society foundations that maybe shifting right under our feet” (5). Likewise, Professor Arrieta speaks, “the key point of for sociology is that our individual lives are shaped by the social world; to improve our quality of life and for those around us” (chapter 1 lecture video). Below, I will describe how an iPhone can suddenly become strange. My first phone was iPhone 6, I felt I were so cool and top of the upper class. To get an iPhone was my dream in high school, because I can play game, watch movie, facetime, and many activities. I loved my iPhone so much; and so much useful in my live. My cousin was jealous me to having an iPhone when I was 18 years old, but she still having an old style phone. She facetimes with me through the computer because her phone did not have the video capabilities. I was the girl with the amazing phone and I used it every day. I cannot live without my iPhone.
