Yuiko's praise can impact students in several ways. While we know that giving the appropriate praise is important to give to students. Effort based praise is the best kind of praise to give to students. By her giving comments like “Good Job” this does not effectively compliment the student. Because the Attribution theory helps students support why they did or did not do well in something. The type of Praise that Yuiko gives is important. This means the teacher should give equal praise among the students because they play an important role in someones overall self- efficacy. It is a very indirect statement that really does not do much for the student. While, giving statements that include “natural” these are comments that she would want to avoid.
